AISSEE Eligibility 2021
For Class 6: Candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31.03.2021. Admission for Girls is open in Class 6 only in all Sainik Schools.
For Class 9: Candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31.03.2021 and should have passed Class 8, from a recognised school, at the time of admission.

Sainik Schools To Introduce 27% OBC Reservations
Sainik Schools is all set to introduce OBC reservations in the admission process from academic session 2020-21. Defence Secretary Ajay Kumar has confirmed the news. As per sources, a total of 27% seats in Sainik schools will be reserved for other backward classes (OBCs) from the academic session 2021-22.

Gujarat’s Sainik School To Admit Girls
Gujarat’s only Sainik School in Jamnagar district has decided to give admission to girl students for the academic session 2021-22. The Sainik School in Gujarat will give admission to Class VI from the next academic session. As per the sources, 10% of total vacancies or minimum of ten seats will be reserved for girls.
Last year, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had given a nod to allow girls to take admission in the Sainik Schools to achieve gender equality.
