‘Parvati’ removed from China border | India News

PITHORAGARH/ DEHRADUN: A 27-year-old woman tourist from Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh, who went to the restricted area of Nabhidhang, close to the Indo-China border, on May 10 on an inner line permit, was forcibly brought back by security agencies on Saturday after she refused to return for over a week after the validity of the permit issued to her had expired, report Prem Punetha & Kalyan Das. The woman, Harmeet Kaur, claimed that she is “an incarnation of goddess Parvati and was waiting to wed Lord Shiva.”
