The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has started the NEET counselling 2020. Candidates who have qualified in the NEET entrance exam 2020 can visit the official site of MCC for NEET counselling registration 2020. MCC will be conducting the NEET counselling registration 2020 in two rounds for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and seats offered by Deemed and Central Universities, AIIMS and JIPMER, ESIC & AFMC institutes.Students should note that NEET counselling registration process is separate for AIQ and state quota. NEET Counselling 2020 Round 2

MCC has started the NEET counselling round 2 registration. It has also released the list of eligible NRI candidates for NEET UG 2020 round 2. Check NEET counselling round 2 dates below.

  • Registration – November 20 to 23, 2020, up to 8 pm (4 days)
  • Payment and Choice Filling/ Locking – November 20 to 24, 2020, up to 11:59 pm (5 days)
  • Processing of Seat Allotment – November 25 to 26, 2020 (2 days)
  • Result – November 27, 2020 (1 day)
  • Reporting – November 28 to December 8, 2020 (11 days).

NEET Counselling Registration 2020 Process

Step 1: Candidates should fill the details such as roll number, registration number, name, mother’s name and date of birth.

Step 2: One should also pay the counselling fee of NEET and security fee through online banking.

Step 3: Students should start the choice filling and locking in NEET 2020 counselling.

Step 4: The MCC will declare the NEET seat allotment result. Candidates can make use of free exit if required.

Step 5: After the seat allotment, candidates should report at the designated college to complete the admission formalities.

Step 6: MCC will release the list of seats vacant for round 2

Note: Candidates are not required to register again for Round 2 registration. One should fill fresh choices. The round 2 seat allotment and reporting follow.

NEET Counselling Removal Of Colleges From Counselling

NMC/MCI has released the two following colleges which are removed from the seat matrix before seat processing of NEET UG Round-1 counselling.

The official notice reads, “NMC/MCI the following two colleges are being removed from the Seat Matrix before Seat Processing of Round-1of UG Counselling 2020. The exercised choices of these two colleges will not be processed, in pursuance to the directions of NMC.

1. Datta Meghe Medical College, Wanadongri, Nagpur (College Code- 525)
2. Manipal- Tata Medical College, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand (College Code- 528)

NEET Counselling 2020: Disability Certificate Issuing Centres

The NEET UG Counselling 2020 for the current academic year 2020-21 started on October 28 as per schedule. Candidates can approach the Disability Centres designated by MCC of DGHS (as per the list attached) across the country to obtain Disability Certificate after getting their disability assessed at the centre in order to avail the benefit of 5% PwD reservation in medical courses. NEET Counselling For NRI

MCC has released an important notice regarding the candidate’s nationality converted from Indian to NRI. Candidates claiming to be NRI as per the orders of Supreme Court should send their relevant documents to change their nationality. The list of documents required to be sent through e-mail are as follow.

  • Documents claiming that the sponsored is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsorer).
  • Relationship of NRI
  • Affidiavit from the sponsorer.
  • Embassy certificate of the sponsorer.
  • NEET score card of the candidate.

NEET Counselling 2020 Scheme

MCC will conduct the NEET counselling registration 2020 in two rounds for All India Quota (AIQ) for 15% seats. The NEET 2020 registration will be held in online mode.

NEET Counselling Dates 2020: Round 1

  • Registration, Payment and Choice Filling – October 28 to November 2, 2020, up to 5 pm (7 days)
  • Choice Filling/ Locking – October 28 to November 2, 2020, up to 11:59 pm (6 days)
  • Processing of Seat Allotment – November 3 to 4, 2020 (2 days)
  • Result – November 5, 2020 (1 day)
  • Reporting – November 7 to 14, 2020 (7 days).

NEET Round 2 Postponed

The MCC has postponed the 2nd round of NEET counselling 2020. It has postponed the registration by two days. The NEET UG Counselling 2020 Round 2 registration scheduled to begin on November 18 will now be activated on November 20.

The official notice reads, “UG Counselling 2020 that the Round-2 of counselling which was scheduled to begin today i.e 18th Nov, 2020 has been postponed by 02 days and will now begin on 20th Nov., 2020 due to seats reserved for Wards of Insured Persons (IP Quota) being added in the seat matrix of Round-2 and resultant revision of seat matrix.

MCC has released an important notice regarding postponement of round-1 of NEET-UG 2020. The official notice reads, “It is for the information to all candidates that the NEET UG Counselling 2020 has been postponed till tomorrow i.e 28th October, 2020 due to some technical reasons. The updated schedule will be displayed shortly on MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in). All candidates are advised to stay in touch with the MCC website for latest updates.”

Earlier, the NTA has declared the NEET UG result 2020 on October 16. The sources suggest that only 56.44% candidates have qualified in the NEET 2020 exam.
