iPhone 14 launch date to sale, everything you need to know is here

Apple Inc.’s biggest day of the year is just a couple of weeks away. The company is reportedly planning to unveil the iPhone 14 at an event in its Apple Park campus on September 7. Keeping in view the launch dates over the past few years, this would be the earliest iPhone launch since 2016. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter, stated that the new line up will go on sale from September 16 —about a week after the launch. He wrote, “Apple will get an additional week of iPhone 14 sales in its fiscal fourth quarter, which runs through September.”

Gurman also suggested that the company might return to format in the years before the pandemic, where it typically launched the new iPhone and Apple Watch together in September, followed by new iPads and Macs together in October.

This year’s iPhone line up has been making headlines way before its launch because of its major upgrades from design to performance and features as well as new software updates. Apple is expected to go large by bringing a new large-screen phone i.e, iPhone 14 Max (expectedly) and not a successor to the Apple iPhone 13 mini. Rumours suggest Apple will ditch the mini model from this year.

Apart from this, there will also be “Pro” class upgrades to processing, camera, and other features on Apple iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The Pro models are speculated to get an upgraded A16 chipset along with a better camera i.e, 48MP, no-notch display and much more.

Meanwhile, a recent leak by infamous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new lineup is expected to be pricier than the previous line up. He tweeted that the average selling price of the whole iPhone 14 range could increase by about 15% than that of the iPhone 13 due to two iPhone 14 Pro price hikes & higher shipment proportion.
