yogi: After Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura and Vrindavan waking up too, says UP CM Yogi Adityanath | India News

LUCKNOW: UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that after the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the temple town of Kashi appears to be waking up, as are Mathura, Vrindavan, Vindhyavasini Dham and Naimisharanya Dham. His remarks came amid legal proceedings in the KV Temple-Gyanvapi mosque dispute.
While addressing the inaugural session of UP BJP working committee, he said the recently renovated Kashi Vishwanath Temple was receiving approximately one lakh visitors every day. “The city is proving the significance of its name in line with PM Modi’s vision,” he said.
Yogi said the fact that not a single communal violence incident took place in UP was a reflection of the state’s strong law and order situation. “It is for the first time that namaz on the last Friday before Eid was not held on roads,” he said. “At the same time, Ram Navami and Hanuman Jayanti were held peacefully,” he further added. Mentioning the removal of loudspeakers from religious places, he said, “You must have seen how we got rid of unnecessary noise.”
BJP’s return to office shows change in public perception: Yogi
UP CM Yogi Adityanath said the historic return of BJP to office in the state is a reflection of a paradigm shift in people’s perception about political parties and governance. He said this while stressing on the necessity of beginning the spadework for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections immediately, Yogi said the party must move with an aim of winning at least 75 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in the next general election.
The CM’s observation marked BJP’s bolstered focus on stepping up implementation of various schemes, which are credited to have played a pivotal role in bringing the party back to office at the Centre and UP.
