The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released an official notification for recruitment to the posts of Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants). The willing and interested candidates can apply online for the posts through the official website at upsconline.nic.in. The last date to submit the application form is 10 May 2022.
UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2022: Vacancy Details
There are a total of 253 vacancies available for the Assistant Commandants posts out of which 66 posts are for Border Security Force (BSF), 29 for Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 62 for Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), 14 for Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and 82 posts for Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The candidates applying for Assistant Commandants posts should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in the respective discipline from a recognised institute.
Age Limit: The candidate should be between 20 to 25 years of age to apply for UPSC CAPF AC posts.

UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2022: Application Fee
The unreserved category candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 200 while the reserved candidates have been exempted from paying any application fee.
UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2022: Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written Test followed by Physical Standards Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standards Test. The qualified candidates in the above-mentioned tests will be then called for the Interview/Personality Test round. The final selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Exam and Interview. The written examination is scheduled to take place on 07 August 2022.
